In line with this commitment, the journal encourages submissions that provide strong theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions to the field of education. Particular emphasis is placed on systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and thematically focused Special Issues addressing contemporary educational challenges.

These initiatives aim to enhance the visibility, coherence, and academic impact of the research published in IJCER.

Article Suggestions: Call for Special Issue Proposals (2026–2027)

International Journal of Contemporary Educational Research welcomes proposals for Special Issues addressing emerging, innovative, and impactful topics in the field of education.

Special Issues should aim to advance scholarly knowledge, address contemporary educational challenges, and attract contributions of high academic quality with international relevance.

Proposals are expected to include:
• A clear Special Issue title and thematic scope
• A brief rationale explaining the significance and contribution of the theme
• A proposed timeline for the call for papers and review process
• Information about the proposed Guest Editor(s), including affiliations

All manuscripts submitted to Special Issues will undergo the journal’s standard editorial screening and double-blind peer-review process.

Interested scholars are invited to submit their proposals to the Editorial Office.

Article Suggestions: Call for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses

International Journal of Contemporary Educational Research welcomes submissions of systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and evidence syntheses across all areas of education.

Submissions should demonstrate strong methodological quality, including transparent search strategies, clearly defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and appropriate analytical procedures.

Authors are expected to follow established reporting guidelines such as PRISMA or other relevant field-specific standards.

Review manuscripts should offer a clear contribution to educational theory, policy, or practice and reflect international scholarly relevance.
