2025 September Issue
We are pleased to publish the September 2025 issue of the International Journal of Contemporary Educational Research.
Commitment to Open Science
The International Journal of Contemporary Educational Research (IJCER) upholds the principles of open science, transparency, and reproducibility as essential elements of credible and ethical research. To ensure the reliability and verifiability of scholarly findings, all submissions are expected to provide accurate reporting of data sources, methodologies, and analytical procedures. Whenever possible, authors are strongly encouraged to make their datasets publicly available in accordance with international open-access and research integrity standards.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are required to present their research honestly, comprehensively, and without distortion. Any form of data fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting is strictly prohibited. All methods, instruments, and analytical procedures should be described in sufficient detail to allow independent verification or replication of the results. Every claim presented in the manuscript must be supported by appropriate and accurate citations of prior research and data sources.
Data Availability and Accessibility
Where applicable, datasets should be deposited in recognized public repositories that ensure long-term preservation and accessibility. Authors must provide direct links (DOIs or accession numbers) to the repositories in the manuscript. If data sharing is restricted for ethical, legal, or institutional reasons, authors must explicitly state the nature of these restrictions and describe the conditions under which access may be granted. Each submission must include a Data Availability Statement specifying:
• The location and accessibility of the supporting data,
• The type of data shared (e.g., raw data, processed data, code), and
• Any restrictions or conditions for reuse.
Supplementary and Supporting Materials
To enhance reproducibility and transparency, authors are encouraged to provide supplementary materials such as:
• Statistical analysis scripts or code,
• Detailed methodological appendices,
• Questionnaires, tools, or materials used during data collection.
Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring that all shared materials comply with data protection regulations, ethical standards, and institutional policies governing human and educational research.
Editorial Oversight and Compliance
Editors and reviewers may request access to the underlying data, materials, or analytical procedures during the peer review process to confirm the validity of the findings. Manuscripts that fail to meet IJCER’s data transparency requirements may be returned for revision or declined following editorial evaluation. The journal’s editorial board ensures that all data-related policies are applied fairly, confidentially, and consistently across submissions.
IJCER’s Commitment
This policy reflects IJCER’s dedication to research reliability, reproducibility, and academic accountability. By promoting transparent data practices, the journal aims to support an open, ethical, and sustainable scientific ecosystem that benefits the global educational research community.
